Big Arts Picnic Event 1st June 2014 at Ward End Park
The Hodge Hill Representing Communities Team had a stall at Ward End Park and engaged with the community discussing our research with visitors to the event. We displayed maps of the Hodge Hill District and asked people to pin a note of a memory about a place where they lived. This prompted discussion around attachment and perceptions of place and prompted questions around our research. Individuals helped us to extend the map of Dadyal/Mirpur and made suggestion of other areas that we should include on the Pakistan map. Children drew pictures and wrote about the park.
